  1. Hi Gerry,
My name is Jane and I’m with Dwellable.
I was looking for blog posts about Cape Sans Blas to share on our site and I came across your post…If you’re open to it, shoot me an email at jane(at)dwellable(dot)com.

  2. hey Gerry!
Help me with the name of these. I live in Gurgaon (NCT)- India with no sea for thousand miles yet these keep screeching all around my house. I often wondered if these are seagulls or stilts. Really long orange legs and I don’t mind their screeching either 🙂

    Sunset, beach, winter- sigh!!!!

    Many hugs xoxo

    1. Olivia, we encounter several different kinds of gulls on our Gulf coastal beaches. The birds in the picture are “laughing” gulls–they actually make a sound like laughter–but these don’t have orange legs. One bird that has sort of flesh-colored legs is a heron gull, according to our bird guide. I can’t imagine your birds are the same, but I bet they’re related somehow. Thanks for the lovely comment.
