Today, a color challenge from WordPress. Here are a couple of my favorite purple shots.
Does anyone know what the flower is in the first one? It’s a wildflower, I think. We didn’t plant them, and they appear all over in early spring.

The theme for this week’s Weekly Photo Challenge, issued yesterday, June 1, is “Today.” The challenge was/is to “take a photo today,” but now that today is past, does the photo I took yesterday count? What about the one I just took today of a lizard on the hummingbird feeder, defying gravity with his/her sticky little feet? (Yes, we do have a crop of lizards around our house.)
Before I start sounding like a “Who’s on First” routine, let’s get to the photos.
